Photos contain hidden data like your GPS location, camera model, and time. Scan your image to see what's hidden, and strip it instantly before sharing.
Whenever you take a photo with your smartphone or digital camera, the device invisibly embeds a chunk of text data inside the image file. This data is known as EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) metadata. While it seems harmless, sharing uncleaned photos online can expose severe privacy risks.
Our tool works fundamentally differently from other websites. When you select an image, our script reads the EXIF data directly inside your web browser and displays it to you. When you click "Scrub Data", we redraw your image entirely from scratch using HTML5 Canvas. This process preserves the visual quality of your photo but permanently destroys the hidden text layer. Because the file never leaves your device, your location data remains strictly yours.
